A Maryland biotech company paid $47 million for the old Anheuser-Busch brewery in Merrimack. The company that owns the shuttered coal plant in Bow is looking at putting a data center on the site. And Nashua South’s girls beat Bishop Guertin for the first time in 15 years.

The state primary is Tuesday, and there’s a 5K at Holman on Saturday.

St. Joseph retains Level III trauma status with zero deficiencies The American College of Surgeons verified St. Joseph Hospital as a Level III trauma center with zero deficiencies, after a review that looked at staffing, training, patient safety and how the hospital tracks its own results. The 208-bed hospital has held the state designation for more than 30 years, and the new verification runs three years. Nashua Independent

About 2,000 people turned out for ArtCity Organizer Kori Thomas figures roughly 2,000 people came through the rail trail between Elm and Ash on Saturday while artists painted walls, building fronts and about a dozen large panels. A large data center may be headed for Bow Granite Shore Power is studying whether to put a data center on the roughly 400 acres around the old Merrimack Station coal plant, and federal filings point to a project around 350 megawatts. Gov. Kelly Ayotte wants a moratorium on projects like it until the state works out the rules, and the town says it will run a full planning review. New Hampshire Bulletin

More families using state child care scholarship An average of 4,979 kids used the scholarship last fiscal year, up from 3,984 the year before and about 75% higher than in 2024, after lawmakers raised the income cutoff. State spending on it climbed more than $12 million, and roughly three quarters of the money now comes from federal welfare funds. NHPR

State records show abuse and neglect in disability care From January through June the state found 21 credible abuse cases, 53 neglect cases and 30 deaths among adults in New Hampshire’s developmental disability system, out of 280 reports filed.
