A Nashua man lost $30,000 at a crypto ATM Ken Heideman says he was talked into pulling out cash and feeding it into a cryptocurrency machine four years ago, and he stood up at a news conference Monday to tell people to stop and call someone they trust first. A state law taking effect December 16 caps those machines at $2,000 a day per customer, holds a first transaction for 48 hours, and allows a full refund if fraud is reported within 14 days. The aldermen said yes to a resource center on High Street The board voted 11-1 last Thursday to let the city run a scaled-back center out of Harbor Care at 45 High Street, open seven days a week from 9 AM to 4 PM through the end of August 2027.
