Nottingham puts data centers on hold Voters approved a one-year moratorium on data center development 1,335 to 143 on Tuesday, after a proposal earlier this year drew a backlash and was pulled. Planning board chair Drew Stevens says the pause gives the town time to look at the land use, water and budget questions before writing permanent zoning. NHPR

Democrats outvoted Republicans on Tuesday About 150,700 ballots went in on the Democratic side of the Senate primary against roughly 106,800 on the Republican side, a 59-41 split. Rye votes two ways on its barn swallows One ballot article keeps the migrating birds out of the town-owned Goss Barn for good and passed 1,248 to 1,113, while a second article barring town officials from disturbing bird colonies on town property passed 1,232 to 1,122.
