A Nashua college gets a free plane, and a resource center finds a temporary home

A resource center gets a temporary home on High Street The city wants to run a scaled-back version out of Harbor Care at 45 High Street, open seven days a week from 9 AM to 4 PM through the end of next August. The aldermen vote on the license agreement Thursday, and the city is putting about $40,000 toward a study to find a permanent site. Nashua Ink Link

Nashua Community College got a free airplane David Wilkie donated a Cessna 150 to the aviation program, and the missing engine is the useful part. Students in the powerplant classes will fit one of the school’s own engines to it and try to get it running. Nashua Independent
