Your sewer bill is going up about $3 a month A city committee voted Wednesday night to send the aldermen a plan for 7% sewer rate increases in January of 2027, 2028 and 2029, which works out to roughly $3 more a month for the average household. Nashua home prices tied a record in August The median single-family sale here came in at $615,000, matching the high set in June and up 11.8% from a year ago, while the statewide median slipped to $569,900. The city marked 25 years since 9/11 Firefighters, police officers, veterans and city officials gathered Thursday at the memorial outside Fire Station 4 on East Hollis Street, which holds a piece of World Trade Center steel and a granite column topped with a firefighter’s helmet and the number 343. Ten indicted at the county courthouse A Hillsborough County grand jury returned felony indictments against ten people, most of them from Nashua, on charges running from selling meth and cocaine to burglary and theft. Two arrests in the Kimball Castle fire Joshua Pittman, 18, of Dover and Peyton Eastman, 19, of Portsmouth were arrested this month over the August 2025 fire at the historic castle in Gilford.
