Back-to-back apartment fires displace residents Nashua Fire Rescue answered two residential fires less than two hours apart on Monday. A dryer fire at a townhouse on Ledgewood Hills Drive around 4PM, then a larger apartment fire on Newcastle Drive that damaged four units. Nobody was hurt. Causes are still under investigation. Grand jury indicts Nashua-area defendants A Hillsborough County grand jury handed up indictments including Patryk Henry, 30, of Nashua, on a felon-in-possession gun charge plus drug counts, along with other Nashua, Hudson, and Litchfield defendants. ArtCity Nashua is coming to the Tree Streets Artist Kori Thomas (Quest Nine) announced more than 20 muralists will paint 15 permanent murals along the Heritage Rail Trail from Elm to Ash on August 29, with music, vendors, and a gallery at 809 Lounge. Manchester three-alarm fire displaces 20 A three-alarm fire early Saturday gutted an apartment building at 322 Main Street and spread to two homes. Twenty people were displaced, one officer was treated for smoke, and damage was about $600,000. Officials said discarded smoking materials on a porch look like the cause. WMUR

Two juveniles hurt in Derry mini-bike crash Derry police were called Monday afternoon to Pingree Hill and Garvin after a car hit an FRP mini bike. Two juveniles went to the hospital, and one was airlifted to the Boston area. The driver stayed on scene. Investigation is ongoing. WMUR

Merrimack’s Mickey Gasper hits his first Red Sox homer Mickey Gasper, who grew up in Merrimack, took one out Monday night against Arizona. Pesky Pole, seventh inning, first career Red Sox home run. WMUR
